I think that Skye is part wolf. Every time around the full moon, she is up at night and barks.
The problem is that she sleeps in the living room where the external wall is a huge window to the yard. So when the moon is bright, she can see all what's going on outside and we have lots of critters active at night.
To prevent her from seeing them when she sleeps, we put two large sheets of paper on the glass near her bed. It helped a bit, but I think she can also hear them and then goes sit in front of the window with no paper to bark.
The last picture is her sleeping in in the morning in our bedroom after a tiring night. LOL
Our plan for tonight is to block more of the window and add a white noise machine, and hopefully we can all sleep well tonight. Although tonight is the wolf moon... :)
