About the event

We are adding a new class to our lineup: join Dr. Holly Galusha of Winged Wellness Vet Clinic, a practicing avian veterinarian, for a two-hour virtual session focused entirely on chicken health and first aid.

Chickens are experts at hiding illness, and by the time something looks obvious it is often already urgent. This session will help you catch problems early, respond calmly, and know the difference between what can wait and what needs a vet.

In the first hour, Dr. Galusha will cover:

  • How to do a basic beak-to-vent health check

  • Common illnesses and what they look like

  • First aid steps you can take before calling the vet
