CAFHS

The California Animal Health and Food Safety Laboratory System (CAHFS) offers relatively cheap medical tests and diagnosis for chickens. A fecal test costs about $10 and a necropsy $20 (incl. euthanasia if required). CAFHS has a lab at UC Davis: http://www.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/cahfs/.
