It was a success! We had our first night out Saturday with Skye locked inside the house (*). We were away for 5 hours and a half, and there was not one barking. She slept through it all!
(*) Skye always had access to the yard while we were away, but as she is very reactive (i.e. lots of barking) to all the nocturnal critters, it was impossible to leave her home alone late in the evenings.
